The difference between a successful person and an average person is how much criticism they can take, average people cannot take much criticism and that is why they remain average all their lives. That is why they fail to be leaders, average people live in fear of what someone else may say or think of them. So they live their lives going along and getting along with all the average people, living in fear of criticism, living in fear of what someone else might think of them or criticize them for. People are always critical of other people, if people are criticizing you, atleast they've noticed you, be worried if no one is criticizing you. You've given them something to talk about. You've given them something to break the boring monotany of their lives. If you can learn to handle criticism you are learning something valueable for your life, 33% of people will love you no matter what you do.

"The psychedelic experience is not the equivalent of a dust bunny under your psychic bed, it's a product of the fractal laws that govern the world at an informational level. There is no deeper truth." -Terence Mckenna

Going through life without trying psychedelics is like going through life without having sex. Mushrooms and DMT do more than force up the remains of last night's dream; they uncover the programming language of mind and cosmos. -Terence Mckenna

People are not machines, but in all situations where they are given the opportunity, they will act like machines, so you have to keep disturbing them, 'cause they always settle down into a routine. - Ludwig von Bertalanffy, the inventor of general systems theory

I believe that the reality exposed by modern physics is fundamentally alien to the human mind, and defies all power of direct visualization. -"The Emperors New Mind" book by Sir Roger Penrose

It's never easy being an independent thinker! - Dunno

"Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people."- Eleanor Roosevelt

Socrates taught his students that the pursuit of truth can only begin once they start to question and analyze every belief that they ever held dear. If a certain belief passes the tests of evidence, deduction, and logic, it should be kept. If it doesn't, the belief should not only be discarded, but the thinker must also then question why he was led to believe the erroneous information in the first place. - Somebody

My consciousness had ascended to a plane in which I was very much in tune with how much we've all been torturing ourselves the entire time. Each person is so stacked to the gills with defense mechanisms and survival instrincts that we simply cannot allow ourselves to be truly happy, rarely realizing that the defense mechanisms that we have in place are often more detrimental to our happiness than that which they are defending against. - Dude on DMT

The foundation stones for a balanced success are honesty,
character, integrity, faith, love and loyalty. - Zig Ziglar

No miracle, no matter how incredible it may seem, is outside the true laws of the universe. It’s only our belief, lack of awareness, and limited understanding that limits our experience of what’s really possible. - Dr. Alexandra Gayek

My mind is made up, dont confuse me with facts - a dumbass

Focus on remedies, not faults. - Jack Nicklaus

To practice the principle of stretching the limits, find opportunities to learn and be vulnerable. Vulnerability does not mean being weak. It is about being in the state of not knowing and hence being open to learning. Your ability to learn is directly proportional to your ability to be vulnerable. - The Art of Accomplishment by Prasad Kaipa

'Worry is preposterous'. - Ripo Yang(?)

If you keep yourself as the final arbitor, you will be less susceptable to infection by cultural illusion. - Terence Mckenna

Culture is not truth. Culture is other people's trash, you know, the detritus of thousands of years of mistakes, that's what culture is, and I think [applause] in the '60s these substances were called consciousness expanding drugs, it was just a straight phenomenological description, consciousness expanding drug or substance. Well, if you take that notion seriously for a moment, then you need to stop and apply attention to this matter, because consciousness, the lack of consciousness is why we are going mad, because we cannot solve our problems. - Terence Mckenna

You have to be the kind of person who will do whatever it takes to succeed. And if you're not, then what makes you think that you are going to succeed anyway? If you think it's just going to walk up and smack you in the face then you're not going to have it. You've got to be a whatever it
takes person. And that means if it's inconvenient, so what? If it's expensive, so what? It doesn't matter. When you show the universe that you are willing to do whatever it takes, then the universe will bend over backwards to support you in every area of your life - Harv Eker

Rich people believe, "I create my life", poor people believe, "life happens to me" - Harv Eker

We have to stop consuming our culture, we have to create culture - Terence Mckenna

By putting the art pedal to the metal we really, I think maximize our humaness and become much more necessary and incomprehensible to the machines - Terence McKenna (1946-2000)

"People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them." - George Bernard Shaw

Choose to pray...rather than curse.
Choose to live...rather than die.
"The Greatest Miracle in the World" by Og Mandino

FEAR = Fantasized Experiences Appearing Real. - Jack Canfield

Often we like to blame our feelings on other people. And what they are doing to us. But if I feel that it's my feeling and I've produced it, then I'm the only one who can resolve it. And fortunately, these substances allow you see and recognize this. And resolve it. - Myron Stolaroff in the movie "Hofman's Potion"

Culture is an effort to satisfy this weird desire human beings have to close off experience, to live with closure, to force closure. That's why cultural trips are so bizarre, why they don't make sense to anybody but the Witoto or the Waorani or the Americans or the Japanese; if you're not inside the culture it seems crazy. The cultures don't make sense because they're not trying to make sense. What they're trying to do is produce closure, which then somehow makes a human being, who is living in the light of closure, a more manipulateable, a more malleable, a lesser thing. So if the experience of the Twentieth Century didn't do it for you, if psychedelics didn't do it for you, I don't know what could do it for you! The message coming back at all of us is: live without closure. That's the honest position, given that you are some kind of a talking monkey, some kind of a primate, some kind of creature, on a planet, in an animal body, incarnate in a time and space. In the face of that, life without closure is the only kind of intellectual honesty there is. If you have to inoculate yourself against the various memes of closure that are around, psychedelics do that. That's why they are so politically controversial and potent because -- more than any other single act that you may voluntarily undertake -- they pull the plug on the myth of cultural meaning. They show that these things are provisional, and that beneath the level of culture there is lurking this erotic, time-and-space-bound, feeling-defined, pre-linguistic mode of being, which is real being. Not becoming, not caught in the various fetishistic forms of tension that commodification of culture and delayed gratification and all these other buzzwords create, but a deeper level of authentic feeling. And it was there all the time, but is denied by the culture. - Terence Mckenna

It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult undertaking which, more than anything else, will determine its successful outcome - William James

He who dares not offend cannot be honest. - Thomas Paine

Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. - Abraham Lincoln

To defy the laws of tradition is a crusade only of the brave. - Les Claypool of the band Primus

"...the best way to predict the future is to make it! - L. Ron Hubbard

Freedom is really letting go of this idea that you have to be better than someone else or you have to be offended by someone else or what someone else is saying or doing or that you have to compare yourself to anyone else - Wayne Dyer

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. – R. Buckminster Fuller

When life hands you lemons, hand them back to life and say "No thanks, but that was a nice gesture"
- Daryl Rummens

The Seven Resiliencies
Resiliencies are the strengths that are developed in the struggle with hardship. The seven resiliencies are a vocabulary of strengths that was developed from the research done by Project Resilience. The seven resiliencies are the framework for talking about strengths. They are:
Insight -
asking tough questions and giving honest answers.
Independence -
distancing emotionally and physically from the sources of trouble in one's life.
Relationships -
making fulfilling connections to other people.
Initiative -
taking charge of problems.
Creativity -
using imagination and expressing oneself in art forms.
Humor -
finding the comic in the tragic.
Morality -
acting on the basis of conscience rather than self-interest or practical considerations.
The seven resiliencies are tools to be used by teachers, clinicians, and prevention workers. They serve as a guide, or a kind of mental map to help you know where to look for strengths so that you can talk about them

If you charge off with some political agenda that is not informed by clarity, your going to end up with business as usual. The road to hell is paved with good intention, but it is not paved with clarity.
- Terence Mckenna

We must dissolve the artificial boundaries that confine our perceptions. Someone once said if we could feel what we are doing to the earth, we would stop immediately. - Terence Mckenna

What obsession or interest of mine would contribute to the grand project of boundary disillusion? Certainly it is not the affirmation of cultural values. Culture is a scheme for maintaining and creating boundaries, it replaces reality with a linguistically supported delusion and behind that delusion then programs of genocide arms races, sexism, racism all can operate very, very comfortably.....love is a boundary dissolving enterprise - Terence Mckenna

E + R = O, Event + Response = Outcome - Jack Canfield

"S.Y.S.T.E.M. Save Your Self Time Energy & Money!!!!!" - Dunno

The vast majority of near-death survivors talk about God, regardless of whatever they may have believed or not believed before their experience occurred. Almost to a person they claim that the light they encountered, that incredibly warm and loving and compassionate light, was God or an expression of God. "The light beyond death is pure ecstasy," one survivor explained, "and the light I encountered is the Light of God." - From the article by P.M.H. Atwater on Near Death Experiences

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, just results. - Ken Blanchard

Dwelling on the past merely weakens you. It can create a state of tension and helplessness. When you say " I could have..." or " I should have done this..." you are in effect, fantasizing in a realm that can have no meaningful productivity and most likely bring dis-ease into your life. If you really think about it, you made the absolute best possible decision that you could have at the time that you made it. Now you can choose to change your ways for future actions, but trust that you did the best you possibly could and let it go. The future is not yet here. Worrying about it can weaken you as well. You have absolutely no power over it; the best you can do is lay groundwork through plans and goals then expect the best. Why be anxious about tomorrow? You cannot change one hair on your own head. Focus, action and trust in the goodness of what you do today will bring the success and joy you seek. - The 7 Principles of Huna

Is it love that hurts, or the expectations of what you think the person should be or do that hurts? Perhaps it is the parameters that one puts on the definition of love that allows doubts, fears, and pains into its meaning. If love is unconditional, then personal rules and beliefs define those parameters that are behind the feelings. - The 7 Principles of Huna

All power comes from within. People have no power over you unless you give it to them. This includes your boss, spouse, parents (or children in many cases), or even the President. You have been given at birth an unconditionally loving power called free will. Your right to choose the way you act out your life is what makes you the beautiful individual that you are. What many of us often forget is that we must take responsibility for those decisions. If we choose to live in this country, we also choose to abide by its laws or accept any consequences for transgressions. When we are told to perform certain tasks at work we must accept responsibility for any part not fulfilled as well as praise for a job "well done."
Let's take it a step further. No one can make you do anything, nor can they make you sad or angry. You actually choose that action or emotional response based on prior beliefs or attitudes. We have, to a large degree, been brought up in a society of blame. It's always someone else's fault. When you lay blame on another, you essentially give your power away and weaken yourself. Remember that you are the writer, director and actor of your own "movie" of life. Your role is every bit as important as anyone else's, and your power comes from inner authority and confidence.
