Daryl
Andrew Rummens (initials backwards are R.A.D.) fell out of his mother's
womb on February 13, 1982. The stupid imbilical cord almost choked
him upon his exit so he decided to flex his young, tender neck muscles
and burst the cord into afterbirth oblivion. (Fine, I didn't do that
but I really did get choked by the imbilical cord, ask my mom.) Years
passed and Daryl acted like a wacky little kid here and there.
In elementary school he did his fair amount of goofing off. Why he
acted the way he did, he did not know. He had an urge to make people
laugh. This awkward behavior could not be pin-pointed, but it was
acknowledged by those around him. This resulted in his receiving most
outgoing in junior high and "Next Adam Sandler" in the senior
superlatives category. After highschool, Daryl attended the nearby
Moorpark Junior College and wasn't really sure what direction he wanted
to go. He took classes that interested him and felt the need to enroll
in entertainment type classes such as Acting for Film and Television
and Improvisational Comedy. Daryl finally felt like he find something
that fit him. Being able to be creative, weird and funny all at the
same time, this would be a great outlet! After doing stand up comedy
for the first time in his Improv Comedy Class Showcase in December
of 2002, he continued to pursue stand up comedy by performing in a
few open mic's in the Los Angeles area, setting up his own local stand
up comedy shows that produced, hosted, and performed in and doing
stuff in other related comedic arenas. He is now in the process of
accumulating and executing more of his comedic ideas and goals, expressing
himself in new creative fashions, and progressing in positive life
adventures. Now in 2006 he is producing his own weekly comedy show
in Camarillo entitled "Comedy
Extravaganza Bonanza" which features top comedians from Comedy
Central, HBO, Lettermen, Leno, Kilborn, Carson Daly, etc.and giggin'
all over So Cal with intentions of going on tour and taking the next
steps in his comedy career. Keep an eye out for Daryl because he likes
people with one empty eye socket. Thanks and salutations, because
now, I am done writing about myself. Great, now I'm talking to myself
about myself in the third person. Oh fuck, now I'm thinking about
talking to myself while talking about thinking of myself in the fifth
person. Darn...
